ECVC/M&A

We are seeking a mid-level ECVC/M&A associate to join Esse Law’s Orange County office. This role is ideal for an attorney with 3–6 years of experience advising emerging growth companies in venture financings and/or M&A transactions.
The associate will work closely with founders, executives, and investors on a wide range of matters, including venture financings, strategic transactions, and general corporate counseling. Responsibilities include drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing diligence processes, and providing practical, business-minded legal advice to high-growth companies at critical stages of their development.
This is a hands-on role for a lawyer who values ownership, judgment, and direct client engagement, and who wants to deepen their practice in a thoughtful, entrepreneurial boutique environment.
